Anime Inspired Typhoon Swell Samurai Sword With Scabbard

I am a big fan of Samurai Champloo, and when I saw Mugens sword I just had to have it.The sword arrived very fast within two days if I remember correctly.As soon as I opened the box I saw the beautiful scabbard and wire wrapped handle.Like most swords the blade heavily greased down, but I cleaned it off no problem.This is when i get to my first arrguement is that the goldish pieces on the end and near the top come off very eaisily and so do the screws that hold the back strap, but like the first comment eaisily fixed.Over all the sword is great I love and will definatly be coming back for more products from the site.

the blade looks awesome, and the handle is well made. except for the little gold piece on the bottom , which comes off easilly. but other then that the blade is flawless

As a fan of Samurai Champloo I have to say this sword rocks. The price is crazy low. What I found really cool is that if adjusted right you can actually draw the sword form your back. Good luck getting it back in the though. The blade is thin and light so I wouldn't use it to cut anything. If you're like me you wouldn't buy it to practice with you'd buy it to display. So that's two swords and one knife all from true sword and I couldn't be happier.

A great replica. The only thing missing is the hidden tanto. Above all a great sword.

This is my first katana off of this website and i have to say that it is AMAZING! there was some damage on the guard but it doesnt matter to me if the blade is perfect, and it is!!!!5 stars buddy, 5 stars!

I got this sword from my brother because he love Samurai Champloo and when he saw the sword he almost wet his self. the blade looks great. Honestly I made the mistake of not thinking the points were sharp, please don't make the same mistakes I did. Its a great sword for an anime collector but not safe around kids or clumsy people at all, unless your insurance plan is paid up.

I just now received this sword today. <br />I have to say this is one heck of a blade...<br />thin, light weight, pretty strong metal, very very beautiful look.<br />It's also quiet sharp too, I can easily cut through plastics, cardboard, plants; harder wood-like objects are a little risky to use it on though. <br />The pins on the handle aren't really fastened into it, but are pretty secure if used properly, and I can easily keep anything from falling apart on this sword. The carbon steel full tang blade helps allot on that.<br />Mugen's sword turned out great! I love Samurai Champloo and I love this sword!<br />Great product.

Beautiful light weight sword, not very sharp (except the tip, the tip is extremely sharp so not a good idea to poke anyone with it as a joke) i love the design on it, the gold makes it stand out from the rest of my swords.

I love this sword! I didn't know that is was sharp on both sides of the blade! I bought this for a friend, but I think I might have to get one for myself

Wow.....what can I say about this sword? It is simply amazing. The detail is great (other than the missing knife in the end) and it is completely beautiful. This is easily one of my favorite swords, for sheer uniqueness, and overall beauty. Thanks, Trueswords!

i just got this sword and have yet to put it down ever since watching samurai champloo i knew i had to have it and now i do the greatest perfectly balanced and sharp out of the box not flimsey at all a true sword at its finest

The sword looks amazing. The only slight problem I had was that the blade wasn't perfectly straight. It wasn't a big issue though, after all it is just for display. The attention to detail is fabulous and looks exactly like Mugen's sword. It will look very impressive once I get it hung up. The sword is just for looks only. I would not feel comfortable at all with swinging it around. This is a must have for any Samurai Champloo fan or anyone who just wants a really unique sword in their collection. The sai style tsuba really makes it all stand out.

Very awesome sword! However the gold piece on the hilt is loose and I had to glue it back together and same with the brass piece on the scabbard. This was of the second sword I got. The first one, the blade was bent so can't say its a very sturdy sword. Because of that, I give it 3 stars
