Twisted Steel Ninja Samurai Katana Sword

The only thing that I didn't like about this sword when it came in only 2 days was the fact that it was completely flat on the blade, but I was kinda expecting that so I also ordered a sharpener with it and it only took me 1 1/2 days (cause I had plans)to get this sword as sharp as all my other ones. Other than that I love this sword, it was the first replica I ever bought, it was between this or the Afro Samurai sword but i think that due to the sweet service of True Swords I'll defiantly be getting that next. One and the picture on my computer showed the back of the sword all ridged but that's just the quality of the picture it isn't actually like that at all. But the picture is accurate with the color scheme, that is in fact how the sword comes, even though on bleach it's a blueish green color than brown, but I much prefer the brown color anyways. All in all the $30 is definitely worth it.

it was a good buy. im curious as to why every real sword made after this character is always brown color based when the one from the anime is blue based<br /><br />either way i love the quality for the price

I'm not an expert in swords. Right from the get go, the colors are wrong. Yep; every reviewer is going crazy over that. Personally, I love the colors. I think the light green looks bad; I saw a replica with the right colors on google and it looked terrible. The guard on this is so much better than other swords, there's no comparison. I consider this a replica with some original design. The blade is sharpened a s standard length with no blemishes. For the price, it's definitely worth it and should be enjoyed by all. Would have loved a full tang version option just like trueswords has with Hyourinmaru; waiting for it to be back in stock, actually. If you're nitpicky or want a 100% replica and can't stand the colors, then I would suggest listening to the other reviewers and learning to spray paint, etc. Otherwise, go for it and don't look back.

Okay, the sword is as good as you would want it to be, for $40.<br />Originally I was going to give it 5 stars, but the colors are wrong:<br /><br />The tauka ito should be light green and not brown;<br />also the tasub should be white or steel, not brass;<br />and the saya should be white.<br /><br />I went ahead and got some light green tsuka ito on ebay, and the right colors pain from my local hardware store.<br />I then started to work on getting the right colors to work.<br />But really, today was hell. (since I'm not a pro at painting)<br /><br />I was about to give it 3 stars out of my frustration, but it was my mistake really.<br /><br /><br />All I can really say is "thanks true swords, you made my halloween costume last year when I was ichigo."<br /> <br />If you plan on getting this sword for a collection, I say "go for it!"<br />If you plan on using it for cosplay, I say "learn how to use spray paint before you do anything first!!"<br />(a mistake I made)<br /><br /><br /><br />Thanks again true swords! i enjoy my product very much i do however dislike the wax resine and the thickness of the sword also the brass ring on the woodn case could be better glued but overall craftsman ship 3 out of 5 stars i will be back for more products
